New Belgium - La Folie

New Belgium La Folie - Sour brown - 7%

The recent wave of New Belgium beers brought this little rare treat, which was a chance find at McCoppins. Last one left, you beauty! Crisp, tart and acidic, the malt gives a light caramel sweetness but it's really all about that sour. Apple-like crispness, maybe a little cherry on the nose. This is consistently rated highly and it's easy to see why. New Belgium, not quite as good as regular Belgium but very lovely.
