Holgate Beelzebub's Jewels - Barrel Aged Quad - 12% Got this guy at McCoppins because weekdays just call for something special to get through the gloom. And at 12% it sure did the trick. A great example of the style. Lovely aromas of dark fruits, almost like a fortified wine or a boozy Christmas pudding. Rich and fruity flavours with a bit of spice. This would probably benefit from some cellaring but who has the willpower? This one was consumed within about 20 minutes of purchase so the answer to that question is: definitely not us.
